| The 30 minutes Group C race on the morning of Le Mans was a wonderfully evocative reminder of one of the golden Le Mans eras. The Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-11 of Gary Pearson led for much of the race before retiring with a driveshaft problem to leave the Nissan R90CK (the holder of the fastest ever Le Mans qualifying time when driven by Mark Blundell in 1990), driven by Charlie Agg to win. Nigel James' Porsche 962C was second from Simon Pullan's 962 Kramer CK6. Gary Pearson set the fastest lap of 3m52.443s (131.390mph). | |
